Biographical Sketch
Apostle Sandra L. Reis has a passion and a heart for God and His people. She has served in ministry across the country. Born and reared in New Orleans, Louisiana, she attended People’s United Methodist Church for most of her childhood until God uprooted her, afterwards planted her in California. Residing in Rodeo, California, she ministered as an Intercessor at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Robert Chew, as well as at the local hospitals. God ordered her steps back to her hometown of New Orleans where she became a member of Beacon Light Baptist Church under the headship of Bishop Darryl S. Brister. At Beacon Light, she worked with several ministries including, Intercessory Prayer, Ministerial Alliance, Sick and Shut-In and Bereavement Ministry within the Choir, as well as Evangelism.
In 2005, Hurricane Katrina forced her to move to Houston, Texas where she became a supporter of Beacon Light International Cathedral of Houston. There, she was ordained as an Elder on Sept.18, 2007. After several years with that ministry, God ordered her steps to Mercy Ministry International, Inc. where Apostle Kenneth T. Stratton is the Founder and Overseer.
Then on June 25, 2013, God, who knows all things and sees all things promoted Elder Reis with the mantle of an Apostle. She is the founder and overseer of Fullness of the Gospel Greater Works Ministries International, Inc., standing on the word from the Book of John 14:12, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father; Intimacy Women’s International Ministry, John 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. Armed and Dangerous Prayer Ministry, John 12:13-14, And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it, and lastly the Reach Out and Touch International Ministry Matt. 25:35-36 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;. I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
God placed Apostle on a fast track with mantles after mantles: from Elder to Evangelist, from Evangelist to Prophetess. and from Prophetess to Apostle. On this fast track, Apostle experienced lost after lost, but with God providing His perfect strength and grace she was able to persevere. In the midst of her many accomplishments, Apostle Reis aspired to be remembered as a woman of faith “who is saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost.” She also desires to be recognized as a servant who “loves the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind and strength.” In addition to being a devoted wife, mother of three and grandmother of six, Reis is a spiritual mother to several sons and daughters in the faith.
Currently Apostle Sandra L. Reis resides in Kenner, Louisiana.
